If you are having difficulties unsubscribing or are still receiving marketing emails when you do not want to, please email info@squaresbakes.com so we can remove you from the email list.

When you provide us with personal information to complete a transaction, verify your credit card, place an order, arrange for a delivery, request a refund, or sign-up for email marketing, we imply that you consent to our collecting it and using it for that specific reason only.

Our Site is hosted by Squarespace. Personal Information (as defined below) hosted by or through Squarespace is subject to their privacy policy which may or may not contain terms as protective as this Privacy Policy. Information Collection

 For the purposes of this Privacy Policy, “Personal Information” means data that allows someone to identify or contact you, including, for example, your name and e-mail address, as well as any other non-public information about you that is associated with or linked to any of the foregoing data.

Personal Information We Collect

When you interact with us, we collect Personal Information that you voluntarily provide. For example, when you sign up for our newsletter or other e-mail lists or otherwise use certain aspects of our Services, we may ask you to provide information such as your name and e-mail address. We will ask you directly for your expressed consent or provide you with an opportunity to say no when you sign up for marketing emails. You can choose not to provide any information that is requested of you by us. We also share this information with Squarespace, our online store hosting provider, so that they can provide website services to us. As you go through checkout, this site may auto-complete your shipping and billing address by sharing what you type with the Google Places API and returning suggestions to you to improve your checkout experience. You can choose not to provide any information that is requested of you by us. However, this may limit your ability to use our Services.

When you submit information to this website via webform, we collect the data requested in the webform in order to track and respond to your submissions. The data may include your name, email, delivery address, order information, method of requested payment, and how you discovered us. We share this information with Squarespace, our online store hosting provider, so that they can provide website services to us. We also share this information with Google Drive for storage.

In addition to collecting information on our Site, we may collect information from you when you communicate with us via e-mail. You can choose not to provide any information that is requested of you by us. However, this may limit your ability to use our Services.

By providing your email, you may receive messages about your order or account activity. For example, we may email you to tell you that you’ve created a customer account, your customer account password has been reset or updated, you’ve made a purchase, your order has been confirmed, or your order has shipped. It is not possible to unsubscribe from these specific messages. We share your contact information with Squarespace, our website hosting provider, so they can send these emails to you on our behalf.

Non-Personal Information

We and/or our third-party service providers may also collect information in a form that does not personally identify you (“Non-Personal Information”). Non-Personal Information can include certain Personal Information that has been de-identified; that is, information that has been rendered anonymous. We and/or our third-party service providers obtain Non-Personal Information about you from information that you provide us, either separately or together with your Personal Information. Payment Information Collected

If you use a direct payment gateway to complete your purchase, then Squarespace stores your credit card data. It is encrypted through the Payment Card Standard Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After that is complete, your purchase transaction information is deleted from Squarespace.

All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.

Non-Personal Information Automatically Collected

We and our third-party service providers may use a variety of technologies, now and hereafter devised, that automatically record certain usage information. When accessing our Site, Squarespace may log your IP address, access URL, time of access, geographic location, browser type, network type, device type, and referral URL in order to provide us with internal information regarding Site traffic statistics. Once you leave our Site or are redirected to a third-party website or application, you are no longer governed by this Privacy Policy. Fonts and Website Functionality

This Site serves font files from and renders fonts using Google Fonts and Adobe Fonts. Google Drive

When you submit information to this website via webform, we collect the data requested in the webform in order to track and respond to your submissions. We share this information with Squarespace, our online store hosting provider, so that they can provide website services to us. We also share this information with Google Drive for storage.

Squares does not knowingly collect or solicit any information from anyone under the age of 13 or knowingly allow such persons to use the Services.
